Chick-fil-a Lemonade

Chick-fil-a lemonade is a very sweet drink

Chick-fil-a lemonade is sweet but has a lot of sugar. A medium Chick-fil-a  cup of lemonade has 57.9 grams of sugar. That is how much sugar you are supposed to have in three days. I would not even drink the small cup of lemonade because it has 42.7 grams of sugar. So next time you’re at Chick-fil-a, maybe think twice about getting lemonade.

1 Cent for 116 Grams of Sugar? Good Deal!

You take your 1 cent and your Limited Black Edition 2015 Roo Cup into the gas station. Now, what flavor to pick…

We researched four types of Icee flavors – Mountain Dew, Pepsi, Cherry, and Blue Raspberry. Here are the nutritional results:

1. Blue Raspberry has the most sugar at 116 grams – 4.8 days worth of sugar.

2. The Icee with the second most sugar was Cherry flavored at 85 grams – 3.5 days worth of sugar.

3. Third is the Mountain Dew Freeze, which contains 64 grams of sugar – 2.7 days worth of sugar.

4. Finally, the Pepsi flavored Icee had the least, with 60.8 grams of sugar – 2.5 days worth of sugar.

All these calculations assume a serving size of 32 ounces – the size of an average Roo Cup. We hope you remember not only that the Pepsi has the least sugar, but that any slushy is bad for you!

Hot Fudge Sundae

This sundae is not sunny in a healthy world.

This McDonald’s sweet treat has 48 grams of sugar. That’s the maximum you should have in two days. So, unless you’re willing to starve yourself for two days, don’t eat a McDonald’s hot fudge sundae. Make the right decision and pass on it.

DQ Reese's Cup Blizzard

This blizzard may be able to hang upside-down but can it be under the daily sugar count?

Just a mini Dairy Queen Brazier Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Blizzard has 45 grams of sugar. That’s just 3 grams of sugar under what you should eat in 2 days! Do you want to waste TWO days worth of sugar on one mini blizzard?

Hot Diggity Dog!!!!!

Hot Dogs

Look at this:  A sugar free hot dog! (Or nah.)

Last time you ate a hot dog, did you think about the sugar in it? Well, you should. In 1 hot dog there is 7 grams of sugar. That’s without a hot dog bun. You should only be eating 24 grams of sugar a day, so think twice before eating a hot dog. They are loaded with sugar!

A “Hole” Lot of Sugar

Krispy Kreme Donut

These donuts have a “Hole” lot of sugar

Everyone likes donuts! They’re soft, creamy, sweet, and full of sugar! But on the down side, they are very bad for your body. A glazed Krispy Kreme donut contains 10 grams of sugar. However, that’s just one donut. Usually, you have three or four donuts at a time, greatly increasing your sugar intake.

But it doesn’t stop there. That covers only the plain glazed donuts. One chocolate covered glazed donut has over double the sugar as one without chocolate, at 21 grams. In fact, the glazed donut has the least amount of sugar of any Krispy Kreme donut. The Caramel Kreme Crunch donut has the most, at 30 grams of sugar per donut.

So, if you’re craving some sweet Krsipy Kreme, go for the plain glazed donuts.

When was the last time you went to McDonalds and bought a McFlurry? WELL, GUESS WHAT??? One regular McFlurry has a whopping 65 grams of sugar! That’s 2 1/2 days worth of sugar in one meal!

Many people go to McDonalds to eat. However, when you buy a McFlurry with your meal, you’re also buying yourself a death sentence. The regular McFlurry has 65 grams of sugar! All in all, the meal at McDonalds should give you about 3 to 3 1/2 days worth of sugar! So, next time you go to McDonalds, Beware Of Flurry.

I’m Lovin’ the Sugar

Tangy BBQ Sauce

Assuming you’re the average American, you have probably ordered McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets. You may have even tried their Tangy BBQ sauce or Sweet N’ Sour sauce. You probably didn’t think there was that much sugar in a 1 oz. package of these sauces, but there is 10 grams of sugar in both of these items.

Most mindlessly dunk their chicken McNuggets in their sauce and don’t even think about the 10 grams of sugar included in it. Especially when it comes to the Tangy BBQ sauce, which doesn’t seem sweet. Here’s something to learn from this: just because something doesn’t taste “sweet”, doesn’t mean a significant amount of sugar isn’t an ingredient.

Ever wanted to try a milkshake from Burger King? You won’t after reading this!

Burger King, according to the food database, is another victim of an over-dosage of sugar. A large Burger King milkshake’s amount of sugar is exactly 140.1 grams! That’s 116.1 more grams of sugar than the amount of sugar you’re supposed to have in a day. A small cup has 84.1 grams of sugar! Just stick with the original Chick-Fil-A milkshake, unless you want type 2 diabetes.
